Henri Costal ‘Les Truffieres’ Chablis 2017 | $28 (previously $33)
Domaine Costal / Henri Costal is a unique collaboration between the well-known Chablis producer Domaine Jean Collet and Kermit Lynch. The project began with a simple barrel tasting with Kermit and led to a custom label, custom vinification, and bottling process exclusively for the American market. The end result of this first tasting was a terroir-driven Chablis from a single vineyard site called Truffières, loosely translated as “site where truffles grow.”
Chateau de Chamirey Mercurey Pinot Noir 2017 | $30 (previously $35)
Château de Chamirey overlooks the village of Chamirey and was built in the 18th century. Built in early XVIII Century, Château de Chamirey is an elegant château, influenced by the Italian architecture, looking down on French garden. Built on a rocky headland, Château de Chamirey has a unique position on Mercurey vineyard. The estate is currently owned and operated by Amaury and Pauline Devillard, alongside an estate in the Mâcon and an estate in Nuits-St-Georges. The Chamirey domaine in Mercurey delivers some of the top Burgundy for the dollar, with elegant and floral wines that are sure to please.
Tenuta di Trinoro ‘Le Cupole’ 2017 | $27 (previously $31)
The second label of Tenuta di Trinoro, Le Cupole was first produced in 1995. It is a blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot, with percentages varying with each vintage. Fermented in stainless steel and aged in one to three year old barriques and cement, Le Cupole is velvety and approachable. This wine hits the palate with exuberance, full of fleshy, bright fruit, extracted tannins, and rich color.
