Winemaker Dinner with Ryan Zepaltas of California’s Zepaltas Wines
California winemaker Ryan Zepaltas will be here on Thursday, April 19th for a coursed out dinner with a special menu prepared by Chef Matt. His rose wine will greet you to start the night off, and there will be six wines paired with five courses for dinner. We’re intentially keeping this one small, so call to make your reservation soon. For those of you who haven’t had the opportunity to try Ryan’s wines by the glass as we’ve been pouring them, take our word that they’re fantastic. Especially if you’re a Pinot Noir fan, you’re not going to want to miss an opportunity to try some of the best domestic expressions we’ve ever had. Here is the menu we will be offering:
First course
butter braised halibut cheek with confit leeks, guanciale, and chicken liver sauce

Second Course
skuna bay salmon cured with porcini salt, seared very rare with morel mushroom puree,
green garlic vinaigrette, and crispy brioche

smoked rabbit with shaved asparagus, watercress, grilled ramps, fromage blanc “salata”,
sunny side up egg, & smoked bacon vinaigrette
